Mark Holland (Jennyanykind) will be performing both upstairs and downstairs @ the Ottobar on August 27th, as part of the Bosley (record release show for the album Honey Pig), w/ Egg Babies Orchestra, The Bellevederes, St. Even, Victoria Vox, Bright Young Things, Red Sammy, and June Star. is currently working on their fourth studio album, an as yet untitled affair scheduled for release later this year on Drug Front Records

Free Electric State, Misery Index, and Office of Future Plans have been confirmed as part of the BiMA.fest roster. Schedules have yet to be confirmed, however be sure to catch these mind-blowing bands during the fest.
Environmental Aesthetics Showcase on August 27th
Environmental Aesthetics Announces August 27th Showcase at BiMA.fest 2011. Details of the showcase are still tentative for the new record label currently working with artists such as True Womanhood, Ava Luna, Blastoids and an upcoming release by Omoo Omoo.
Sockets Artists To Showcase @ The Hexagon on August 27th
DC label Sockets Records will present some of the hottest up’n’coming bands from Washington DC at this year’s BiMA.fest event, tentatively including Deleted Scenes, S PRCSS, Skeletons, and Blue Brain. Look for an announcement this month about the first single from Deleted Scenes 2011 album.

Red This Ever
Last year Ada Ruiz’s band Red This Ever was a big hit performing early at the Ottobar with Norfolk, VA’s
Speedway Operator, Courtesy Line, and Spineless Swine, after an appearance by filmmaker Kerri Koch, who directed Don’t Need You: The Herstory of Riot Grrrl and a showing of last years Morrissey film Passions Just Like Mine. This year Red This Ever will perform again alongside their good friend Skydivers. Time and venue are still TBC.
The Sidebar & The Hexagon Venues Confirmed
The latest confirmed venues for BiMA fest 2011 are The Sidebar and The Hexagon. The Sidebar will be a new venue this year, and we are hopeful that they will host some of the great punk rock bands that they are known for.

Firetalk Records Showcase
Firetalk Records has just confirmed that Woodsman

For Immediate Release
The inaugural BiMA.fest which took place August 26-28 2010 assembled more than 150 performers into a dozen venues spread throughout Baltimore, featuring nearly 30 standalone shows that formed the core of what the organizers hoped would become an annual event for Baltimore.
The Ottobar & Windup Space Venues Confirmed
